CAIRO (Sputnik) – Egypt has officially asked the UN Security Council to interfere in the course of the negotiations on the construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) on the Blue Nile to prevent unilateral steps from Ethiopia, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said.
