Former Brazilian President Lula has had his jail term for corruption extended by a further 12 years. Sputnik spoke with Octavio Luiz Motta Ferraz, Reader in Transnational Law at King’s College London, to find out is this justified or is Lula merely the victim of a changing political climate in the country.
