Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has refused to accept the resignation of Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, according to foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi, citing the chief of staff of the President of Iran. Earlier, Iranian lawmakers signed a letter asking President Hassan Rouhani to keep Javad Zarif at his post.
