Denuclearization talks between North Korea and the United States have stalled, with Washington calling for Pyongyang to step away from its nuclear program, and in particular to dismantle its nuclear sites, Yongbyon among them. The US was reluctant, however, to first offer sanction relief, which caused the deal to fall apart.
