US Homeland Security Requests Troops Remain on Mexican Border Until January 31

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has asked the Pentagon to extend the deployment of troops currently stationed along the US-Mexico border through the end of January, Department of Defence spokesperson Jamie Davis said in a statement.
