MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Portuguese authorities are aware of the allegations about links between high rates of cancer on the Azores with the emissions from the US military base located on one of the islands, and awaiting the preliminary results of an investigation into this case in the forthcoming months, the Portuguese foreign minister told Sputnik.
