Mercifully, Amazon is offering a bunch of discounts on luggage as part of its annual Prime Day sale (which is happening on July 12 and 13 this year). If you're going to spend a boatload on gas, airfare, and/or hotels, it's so worth it to snag a cheap suitcase when the opportunity strikes — they're not exactly cheap themselves.
