Space tourism company Virgin Galactic is a subsidiary of the Virgin Group involved in developing commercial spacecraft and offering commercial trips to space as well as missions for scientific research. The trips will begin in New Mexico, but Virgin's founder Richard Branson has said he wishes to see the company rapidly expand internationally.
