Best Black Friday kitchen deals for all your baking, stewing, and air frying needs

UPDATE: Nov. 23, 2021, 9:45 p.m. EST This story has been updated to include the latest deals on air fryers, blenders, food processors, and juicers.

Black Friday is generally the best time to purchase all your much-needed kitchen upgrades and this year is no different.

In a normal year, small appliances like Instant Pots, air fryers, and blenders are hot items for IRL shoppers, but like last year, you won't need to throw elbows and wait in ridiculous lines to score cheap prices. With that said, supply chain issues and shipping delays mean you'll definitely want to get your shopping started and finished sooner rather than later if you want to have your gifts in time for the holiday.

Instant Pot and multicooker deals

Why we like it

If the more high-tech Instant Pots just seem like too much, the Instant Pot Duo Plus has all the functions you need and none that you don't. It acts as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, sauté pan, rice cooker, yogurt maker, seamer, food warmer, sous vide, and sterilizer, has 15 one-touch programs for quick cooking, and was under $60 at the time of writing.

Why we like it

This French brand is known for their colorful Dutch ovens that evenly cook meats, soups, casseroles, and one-pot meals. When you're not cooking, it makes a great statement piece on your stovetop. And when the recipe calls for it, you can throw it in the oven. It cooks great, looks great, and for a limited time, is priced pretty great, too.

Air fryer deals

Our pick: Ninja Four Quart Air Fryer
$69 at Walmart (save $50.99)

Why we like it

This deal has already sold out once this shopping season, and it's likely to sell out again. The beloved Ninja Four Quart air fryer has a wide temperature range of 105 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, which allows you to dehydrate or crisp. The one-touch controls are simple to use, just choose from one of the four cooking presets (air fry, dehydrate, roast, or reheat) or manually set the desired time and temperature.

The retail price on this air fryer is $119.99, so this discount is only $3 away from the lowest price we've ever seen on the model. Considering the exact same air fryer is $89.99 at Amazon, buying from Walmart will save you over $20.

Coffee maker deals

Why we like it

The Keurig K-Latte will definitely help you cut down on your daily Starbucks runs. The coffee maker itself can brew six, eight, or 10 ounces of coffee or can brew a single, concentrated shot perfect for cafe-style drinks. The attached milk frother will take your morning joe to the next level, and the frother base flips up to save counter space when you're not using it.

Blender, juicer, and food processor deals

Why we like it

If you've ever wanted your kitchen to feel like a juice bar (or a normal bar), this Breville Bluicer (it's a blender and juicer — get it?) will make those dreams a reality. It combines the power of juicing and blending in one device, and can make everything from green juices to protein smoothies to frozen cocktails. It features a powerful 1000 watt base, four one-touch programs, and five different speed settings.

Why we like it

Sure, $150 might seem like a lot for a rice cooker, but for folks who live on steamed rice, this is every bit worth the splurge. Zojirushi is the top brand for rice cookers, and the higher end models are loved by restaurants, rice-a-holics, and everyone in between. It has settings for basically every kind of rice that exists, will keep your rice warm for hours after cooking, and even sings you a song when it starts and stops cooking.

What kitchen deals to expect this Black Friday

Last year, we saw a $49 Instant Pot Viva, a $79 six-quart Instant Pot Duo Crisp, and tons of deals from Keurig, Ninja, Vitamix, and more. We're expecting that the best deals this year will be very similar, mostly focused on small kitchen appliances (these products do make the best holiday gifts, after all).

While many of the Instant Pot deals we've seen so far have been somewhat lackluster (with the exception of the Duo Crisp), we're expecting that retailers will start price dropping on everyone's favorite pressure cooker over the next few weeks as we approach Black Friday. That means if you're looking to cop a discounted Instant Pot, you might have to throw virtual elbows (or just wake up early) before they sell out on the actual shopping holiday.

On the topic of the Instant Pot Duo Crisp, this may be the only Instant Pot model we've seen this shopping season with substantial price drops. Amazon and Walmart have been hilariously duking it out to have the overall best price on this model for weeks. Every time Walmart drops the price down, Amazon beats it by five cents, and vice versa. If you're in the market for the Duo Crisp, you'd best check the price at both retailers before snagging one.

Air fryer deals, on the other hand, are already wildly abundant. We're seeing discounts on pretty much every brand that has an air fryer. If you have your eye on a specific model, we're willing to bet it's already on sale, or will be soon.

Speaking of air fryer deals, Best Buy launched its Black Friday sale a week early (it's live as of Nov. 19) and it includes tons of air fryer deals. Some of the best discounts are on Best Buy-exclusive Bella Pro and Insignia air fryer models, but we've also spotted some sweet discounts on Ninja Foodi air fryers and pressure cookers, Magic Bullet blenders, and more. Check out all those deals and more below.

How to shop for kitchen products this Black Friday

You're probably tired of hearing this, but shopping for kitchen deals this Black Friday should be done as early as possible (a.k.a now). Popular products like air fryers, Instant Pots, and other small appliances are all at risk of selling out — especially if they reach record low prices.

Our top two tips for Black Friday kitchen shopping this year are to do your research and buy early. Check out our roundups and reviews on the top categories (we can help you choose an Instant Pot, air fryer, and more) to help you decide which products you want. After you've decided what products you're looking for, we'll take it from there. We are constantly combing through deals at the big retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy so you don't have to. Bookmark this page and check back daily — we'll be updating frequently it as new sales drop.
