Rioters in Washington, DC, called for the "hanging" of Vice President Pence as a "traitor" during the mayhem in front of the US Capitol on January 6. They even constructed a wooden gallows with a noose outside the building, apparently designed for Pence, who reportedly let Trump down in defending his election fraud accusations.
