This is not the first time reports emerge suggesting that Iran has seized foreign oil vessels, as back in 2019 several similar incidents reportedly took place in the waters of the Persian Gulf. The seized vessels supposedly belonged to Saudi Arabia, UAE, Norway, Japan and other countries.
