Scholar: Attack on Oil Facilities Exposed Critical Gaps in Saudi Expensive Military Defence Umbrella

The US Department of Defence has announced plans to send troops to Saudi Arabia following last week's drone attacks on major Saudi oil facilities. US Secretary of Defence Mark Esper told reporters on Friday that the deployment of US forces “will be defensive in nature and primarily focused on air and missile defence.”
