The golden age of television is here: Spotify and Apple are both serving up their share of stellar original content in the podcast space, while micro-content on Instagram and other social media platforms have users hooked in their hypnotic grasp.
But, do people even read anymore?
Turns out, they do. Lots of them. The issue isn't that people like reading any less, it's that they don't think they have time to do it. Content consumption in today's digital era, after all, often occurs in bite-sized pieces: five to ten minutes of scrolling here, a YouTube video there.
