South Korean President Moon Jae-in has recently tried to ease rising tensions in Asia in the wake of intensified missile launches from Pyongyang and its warmongering exchange of rhetoric with the US; he dismissed the idea of a military alliance between Seoul, Japan and the US and warned Tokyo against using North Korea as an excuse for expansion.
