A unique scientific discovery was made by researchers from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, as they have succeeded in extracting the DNA of an ancient human from a portion of 5,700-year-old “chewing gum” found during archaeological excavations at Syltholm, east of Rodbyhavn in southern Denmark.
